When you first set up a WordPress site, it comes with sample posts and comments. Here’s a simple guide to remove them and get your site ready for your content.

Step 1: Log into Your WordPress Dashboard

1. Open your web browser and go to your WordPress login page (typically `yourdomain.com/wp-admin`).
2. Enter your username and password, then click the “Log In” button.

Step 2: Remove Sample Posts

1. In the left sidebar, click on **Posts**.
2. You’ll see a list of posts, including the sample post titled “Hello World!”.
3. Hover over the title of the sample post. You’ll see options like **Edit**, **Quick Edit**, **Trash**, and **View**.
4. Click on **Trash** to delete the sample post.
5. To permanently delete it, go to the **Trash** tab at the top, hover over the post again, and select **Delete Permanently**.

Step 3: Remove Sample Comments

1. In the left sidebar, click on **Comments**.
2. You’ll see a list of comments, including sample comments from the sample post.
3. To delete them, hover over each comment, and click on **Trash**.
4. To delete them permanently, go to the **Trash** tab at the top and select **Delete Permanently** for each comment.

Step 4: Check Your Site

1. Click on your site’s name at the top left of the dashboard to visit your homepage.
2. Ensure that the sample posts and comments have been removed.
